Some places ask you to slow down.
Following the light
The forest was quiet that morning. Light moved between the trees, dust remained suspended behind the vehicle and the road seemed to disappear into the distance.
There was no important destination waiting at the end. The experience existed in the drive itself.
The sunlight changed every few minutes. Some sections of the road felt dark and enclosed, while others opened into warm patches of golden light.
Those small changes made every corner feel different.
The moments we almost miss
It is easy to focus on arriving somewhere.
This journey was a reminder that some of the best moments happen before we reach the destination.
Sometimes freedom is simply having enough time to notice them.
